Aiai Calmer, an incoming freshman at Brown University, is the Communications Director for this year’s HOPE concert. She has been playing guzheng for the past eleven years and has performed in venues such as the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. Apart from her dedication to music, she has been a leader in community service in Maryland, most notably in organizations such as Civil Air Patrol. Aiai hopes that she is able to increase resources available to the beneficiary orphanages from this fund and encourage young artists to study alternative music.
