Shawn Chen

Shawn Chen is a rising senior at Urbana High School who has played violin since 4th grade. He currently studies with Dr. Gendel in Rockville. Shawn was a part of FRYO (Frederick Regional Youth Orchestra) during middle school and has been an MCYO (Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra) member for 4 years. In school, he is an active member of the Tri-M Honor Society by founding and leading rehearsals for the honor society’s chamber ensemble.
